Fiera Capital (2023)
A second most magical collaboration between three budding artists ages 3 to 8 and myself. Working from their original drawings, already bursting with creativity and boundless imagination, I created three illustrations to be unveiled in a very special art show at the Fiera Capital Montreal offices, following a successful first edition in Toronto (2022).
A Peek Behind the Art
After the success of their Toronto art show in 2022, Fiera Capital’s Montreal office wanted to bring the magic home. Nicole once again sent me a folder brimming with delightful creations from the children of their employees, and I was invited to pick my favourites to reimagine in my own style.
Following the delight from the Toronto event, I knew exactly how meaningful this project would be, both for the children and for their families. Each original drawing was a little treasure: playful squiggles, expressive strokes and vivid imaginary worlds. My goal was to honor every quirky line and burst of color while adding the depth, texture, and storytelling touches that would make the artwork feel complete without losing its original spirit.
When the final pieces were unveiled during the Montreal office art show, the room was full of wide eyes and proud smiles. Just like in Toronto, the kids each received a framed print of their transformed artwork, and the originals continue to brighten the office walls, a daily reminder that creativity thrives at any age.
